Hi, I am a fello pro makeup artist and i am glad i stumbled upon your website! I had no idea they had a freelancer's union, it seems like if your not in the MUA union you're usually abused at some jobs. I wanted to know if joining has helped you out in any way, as far as protecting you? Thanks!!
sorry for the delay in response. yes, I was deciding if I should join the Local 798 but trying this out first. So far it has made much difference but it gives me some options as far as health insurance and networking without paying the union fees and going thru the process of joining. try it out, it can't hurt.
